Another blast from the past! Way back before the Docs had a single original song to their credit, they cut their little baby band teeth on 4 cover songs, including the "Reel Big Fish" version of the Van Morrison classic, Brown Eyed Girl. This version is notable for a rather loud scream by Slush at the end. He only pulls out the big scream for special occasions. Current set statistics show that the Docs have played Brown Eyed Girl more than any other cover song: 73 times out of 120 known sets. What were the other 3 covers the Docs learned back in the day, and how many times have they been played? Glad you asked, dear reader: "Somewhere in the Between" by Streetlight Manifesto (41 times), "The Impression that I Get" by The Mighty Might Bosstones (34 times), and "Sell Out" by Reel Big Fish (32 times).
